Mixed Team Club Challenge Playing System:

• A team shall consist of 3 or 4 players per gender. (Minimum 2, if you are short of players)

• The order of play shall be:

1) Mixed doubles

2) Women’s singles (player not playing mixed doubles)

3) Men’s singles (player not playing mixed doubles)

4) Women’s doubles vs Women’s doubles /Men’s doubles vs Men’s doubles *

5) Men’s doubles vs Men’s doubles / Women’s doubles vs Women’s doubles *

* If required. The order of play for the last 2 matches shall be determined as soon the first match finish by the team captain of the lower ranked team.

• All individual matches of a team match shall be 3 games (result 3-0 or 2-1)

• Team matches shall be played to a result where the first team to accumulate 8 games wins.

• Final ranking will be determined in terms of Regulation 3.7.5 (Note 3)

• Time-out rule as per regulation 3.4.4.2. Each player/pair is entitled to 1 time-out in each individual match.

• Misbehaviour which warrants yellow or yellow/red cards is covered in 3.5.2. Cards are carried forward in individual matches in each team match (3.5.2.3/3.5.2.6) but nothing is carried forward after the team match finishes.

• In the third game of a match the players or pairs shall change ends when one player or pair scores 5 points and in the third game of a doubles match the pair due to receive next shall change their order of receiving when one pair scores 5 points

• An equal number of male and female players must be registered on the match score sheet for each team match. The maximum number of individuals allowed on the bench will be decided by ITTF and LOC.

• Each player is allowed to play in a maximum of 2 individual matches (doubles and singles) per team match.
